NewsBill ("we", "us") provides newspaper billing and distribution software for vendors, readers, and administrators. This policy explains how we handle information you provide when using the app.

Information we collect

Account details such as name, email, phone number, address, centre details, billing records, payment references (for example UPI transaction IDs), chat messages, and usage needed to operate the service.

How we use information

To create accounts, generate and settle bills, send verification OTPs, enable vendor–reader chat, show alerts, and improve reliability and security of the platform.

Sharing

We do not sell personal data. Information may be shared with service providers that host the app or database, send WhatsApp/SMS OTP, or process infrastructure on our behalf, only as needed to run NewsBill.

Security & retention

We use industry-standard safeguards (encrypted connections, hashed passwords). Data is kept while your account is active and as required for billing history and legal obligations.
